Tyki gave her a smile that, on anybody else's face, might have been suave. When he did it, without reining in his amusement, it just looked dangerous. He would have to keep that in check. There was nothing to be gained by going into this meeting of Clan members looking like one of the troublemakers.

It wasn't gentlemanly. It would have been in an upmarket restaurant or luxury hotel, but here it was simply him allowing the more formidable of the two of them, or at least the more durable, to walk into danger first.
