She didn't say anything as she pulled him into the kitchen, and then she walked through, opened the back door, and headed into the garden. She didn't want to have to be stopping and starting with the explanation if anybody else walked in.
"Everything is her problem," she said, turning to look at him. "Everything. She's ... she's a colossal bitch. I didn't expect to ever see her again. I don't know why she's here."
