It rankled that L talked over him, but now wasn't the time to raise a fuss about being talked around like a naughty child at a family dinner.
He was still the newest member of the Clan, regardless who had vouched for him. He wasn't sure if that gave him better or lower standing than the Lucians, but he wasn't going to make an exhibition of himself regardless.
