Ignis's lips tightened. His family, should he tell them of his own preferences and why he wasn't about to produce little Scientia heirs any time soon, wouldn't accept his reasoning. Duty before all else, after all. It was only the fact that Ignis's duty to the crown, and by extension to Lucis superseded any family commitments that he remained currently unburdened by such things. It was a not a state of affairs likely to last.
"Is it terribly obvious?" he asked, looking directly at Lumi once more. He wasn't accustomed to being so easily identified as having a preference for men, let alone the type of man. He didn't think Gladio knew. He hoped Gladio didn't know, and that Lumi was simply unnervingly observant.
