"Oh, a number of flowers are edible," Ignis replied, quite cheerfully as he flipped the kettle on to boil. "Their petals, at least. The stems and petal bases can be quite bitter. Roses especially have long been used as flavouring and decoration," he added. He didn't use flowers much himself; it was something of a hassle to get ones that it was safe to use, but rosewater wasn't especially hard to find.
