Ignis could talk rubbish about the other capitals all he liked, as far as Lumi was concerned. Rustic wasn't a strong enough word to describe the state and age of some of them. There were probably ruins of great civilisations on his ancestral world that weren't as old as some of Spira's ancient capitals. He had little appreciation for old ruins, he didn't care about what time and nature did to man-made structures, or how well they stood the test of either. He liked modern.
He liked air conditioning.
