They weren't practicing to the death, just getting some work in. The audience was incidental. "I don't care if you want to show off to Muscles," she added, with a cocky grin.
Kadaj was, well, different these days, but he definitely had a soft spot for muscular guys that didn't like shirts, and he was still an idiot when he was trying to show off. He just wasn't an idiot all the time now. There was no point in pushing boundaries when the boundaries had mostly been laid down by someone he'd killed.
