Bahamut stood proudly by Kadaj's side, dwarfing him. If Tayuya was boosting Ifrit then she was alright with him taking some more damage yet. If she got worried she could always command Ifrit to heal himself with a fire spell.
Kadaj had never found magic spells to be worth the energy output compared to just smacking an enemy, but time with Even had changed his mind at least a little.
