Aerith and Ienzo were excused as far as he was concerned, since they'd been instrumental in isolating the animal to begin with. Without them they'd have a much more drawn out fight against an entire herd of garula to deal with.
"A float spell, if you could?" he called. That would make the transporting of something so bulky into a veritable breeze. A rope around the legs and it would be an easy task to tow it back to camp so long as they kept the float spell active.
