With everyone present and the door sealed, Aizen moved to the front of the room. Calm and serious, he had no intention of making the briefing anything even resembling brief. He, at least, had time to spare and the matters that he intended to address were not to be rushed.
"Thank you all for coming," he said gently, though the smile that turned the corners of his lips up did not touch his eyes. That the vast majority of the attendees were there by order and not by choice remained unsaid.
He looked at them each in turn. The Ryoka, involved and not; the Arrancar, both Espada and Fracción; L, who had aided the mission behind the scenes; and Gin, who had been instrumental in information brokering on both sides after the fact. While he felt a flutter of satisfaction at the sorry state L was in, he didn't outwardly react.
"The mission, as most of you are aware," he paused, his eyes lingering on Marluxia as he did, "was a success." He had no intention of going into mission details. That was done and they had achieved what they had set out to do. Marluxia didn't need to know what had gone on during it, or what they had achieved by succeeding. "I thank all those involved for their cooperation and participation."
