It was hard to stay calm and quiet at the news, but he managed not to react with anything more than a silent sigh at the knowledge that everything he knew was gone.
Stark was alone in having grown up in the city that he had stood by and watched being destroyed. He had done that without dissent and now he faced up to the consequences of that in a similarly stoic fashion. It hurt, he wouldn't deny that, but it was too late to do anything about it now. Without Aizen, and the Arrancar, he would be dead thanks to Midgar's own operatives. With them, he had been obligated to help take down the city. It was, for Stark, a lose/lose situation.
