He threw her a poisonous look as she jumped away and pranced off before he ran his fingers through his hair, straightened his glasses, and got comfortable in the chair on his own again.
He'd been asked to stay behind, and that suited Szayel just fine as he had plenty of questions to ask. He crossed one leg over the other and relaxed, thinking back over what he'd seen. Interesting Ryoka, an interesting girl.... He really did need samples from a Ryoka. They required further study.
