Szayel looked distinctly unhappy with the instruction. He got the distinct impression that the 'explicit instruction' was being directed at him, which only made it all the more frustrating. He'd have liked to go and gossip about what he'd heard while he waited for something more concrete, but he was being denied.
Unlike Nel, he didn't acknowledge the order, instead looking grouchy as he stood and made to leave.
