Marluxia suppressed a laugh, but his amusement was still evident. Lumi was too smart to walk within range of the scythe blade when he'd probably not seen such a weapon used before. Marluxia could get to like being too much of an unknown for Lumi to approach.

It wouldn't last, but for now, it tickled him.

Of course, the flip side was that Lumi being too smart to wade in to the unknown required Marluxia to step in first against an armed and ready Lumi.

He moved forward with a surprising amount of speed for someone who had, up to now, dealt in back row fighting, and swung Graceful Dahlia hard and fast, holding the shaft from a little over halfway down. He could extend his reach further and hold the scythe right at the end of the handle, but that was a good way to get it knocked straight from his hand against someone like Lumi right now.
