Besides, it'd be faster if he was led there directly, which meant he'd be able to find somewhere to stay sooner, too.
The possibility of attracting unfavourable attention from a criminal contingent somewhere was lower down Kadaj's list of concerns, but two Selkies walking a giant piece of machina through the city were less likely to be troubled by that, too, of course.
