It was impossible for Grimmjow to miss that transition from regular Saix to the berserked alternative. That, combined with Haste, would make the fight a hard one, but he didn't release just yet. He went back in for another barrage of attacks and attempted to stay out of the firing line from the claymore as much as possible by using Sonido when he needed to.

He knew that staying close enough to prevent Saix swinging his weapon would be his salvation, at least until he was forced to break that pattern of attack.
