Ulquiorra dodged the first couple of strikes with swift steps, but he had to bring his hand up to block the next attempt at a strike...
and his other hand out to block the next strike.
Axel was fast at the best of times, but now he was under the influence of haste, and, Ulquiorra would judge, a strength boost, too. Their white mage kept buffing them. It was time to bring this back under control.
He jumped back, out of Axel's way, and raised a hand. A spark of green collected on the end of his outstretched finger.
