Saix rampaged, continuing his pounding strikes until he jumped and threw his claymore at Grimmjow again. When he landed, he was struck by a bala blast, which knocked him off his feet, and back to his senses.
For a vulnerable moment, which went on much too long for safety, Saix was weaponless, and half dazed.
