Szayel looked up from his magazine to throw Nel a look of open contempt. He always hated it when she used that tone on him; she sounded like she thought she was his mother. Not even his mother used that tone on him.
"You'll find Hojo worse than me," he said, lightly, looking back at Kadaj. Then he glanced sidelong at Even, but continued to address Kadaj. "Of course, some of us have already seen you in battle to have your data," he said, with a faint smirk.
