Even had known how to use all of his Ice-based abilities upon arrival. He had also known some other Elemental magic, mostly on account of knowing it before he got to Spira, but in order to master the Black Mage class, he had studied like everybody else had. The Chakra control part had ended up being the most difficult aspect for him, not that it had been too hard, considering, but Kadaj already had that down.
