Kadaj, it seemed, had been somebody's subordinate, transitioned through useful and had come out needing to be as dangerous as some of the others before his threat levels started to outweigh his usefulness without putting him in their league.
It was useful advice. It was also information that nobody else had seen fit to give him. Ienzo and Marluxia had been helpful enough, as had Nel, but Kadaj was being brutally honest with the way Khamja worked in a way that might actually benefit him where his ongoing survival was concerned.
"Maybe I should dedicate some time to considering my options before I attract too much attention," he said, somewhat wryly.
