Even looked at him and smiled. It wasn't a particularly nice smile, but it wasn't something that put you in mind of a baritine croc, either. There was a calculating edge to his expression, a shrewd look in his narrowed green eyes, and it didn't leave when he spoke.
"I'm going to cast something on you," he said, evenly. "Nothing dangerous," he added, quickly, before Kadaj got worried, "just an experiment. When I have done that, I'd like you to activate your Bankai, nothing else."
