Or at least, something Yylfordt expected to be off-putting. Kadaj was a finicky eater anyway; he didn't like things that were oversweet, or bitter, or too salty. It applied to drinks, too, and Yylfordt found it amusing that Kadaj preferred what he called 'chick drinks' over beer.
But Kadaj wasn't put off by where food came from, just by how it tasted. He wasn't someone that was ever going to manage well living off saltnanna while traveling the deserts on chocoboback, but if he could get fresh meat, he wasn't overly fussy about which part of the animal it came from.
