Fang, upon listening to Kadaj, decided she liked him. He spoke sense when it came to the apparently ongoing enmity between the two sides and what he said explained a lot about what had lead up to this point.
Evidently the group had gone through a few additions and subtractions between the initial starting point and their current state, but the feud had been passed on because the friends of either instigator joined in when they did. It was obviously a good thing that somebody was finally trying to put a stop to that nonsense.
