Lea opened his mouth to give an explanation, not that it need one, in his opinion, when Aerith spoke for him. He raised his eyebrows a little bit and his cheeks coloured, but he grinned awkwardly.
"Yeah," he said. "Saix is my best friend. It'd be weird, anyway."
He didn't really look at Saix that way. They'd always been best friends and partners in crime, barring that time during Organization XIII where they didn't see eye to eye. It had resulted in negative feelings where negativity wasn't supposed to be possible.
"We've been friends since we were kids," he elaborated, lamely.
