He scowled, but shook it off, making a mental note to ask about that again later, when he didn't hurt from head to toe and when he hadn't just woken up. He couldn't quite work out why he ached all over. Every muscle hurt like one recently introduced to more exercise than they had been in recent weeks.
So, Szayel had worked on him. That wasn't much of a surprise, not given his profession when it came to medical procedures.
